Curation Sources of Information

I approached the creation of my curation platform with a clear and organized structure. The set-up is designed to be user-friendly, with intuitive navigation that ensures easy access to resources. The alignment of learning standards serves as a foundation, guaranteeing that the resources selected are educationally sound and developmentally appropriate for each audiences. My curation is organized into three main audience areas: Child Audience, Caregiver Audience, and Professional Colleagues Audience. All resources are on one page as resources in each domain may be beneficial for all to explore and utilize. By structuring my curation in this way, I aim to create a platform that is easy to navigate and caters to the distinct needs of each audience while ensuring that all resources are of the highest quality and educational value.

For the Child Audience section, I have chosen to list the academic domains beneath each resource. This organization offers a concise and easily accessible format for users. Each resource is accompanied by comprehensive descriptions, highlighting the key features and benefits, and how it aligns with developmentally appropriate practice and learning opportunities.

The Caregiver Audience section is meticulously categorized into various aspects, featuring a Parent's Guide to Nature Play, "Last Child in the Woods" Resource Guide, Twinkl's Forest School Activities to Try at Home, First Things First - Ages and Stages Resources, and UW iLabs At-Home Activities. Each resource is accompanied by detailed descriptions, helping caregivers understand the resources' significance and relevance to their roles.

In the Professional Colleagues Audience section, I have categorized the resources into two distinct labels. Some of these resources are specifically intended for class instruction, while others are tailored to professional development. Each resource is also accompanied by a description of the resource for better understanding possible uses.
